Our take
I upgraded to the HP Series 5 Pro 524pf for its IPS panel and 100Hz refresh rate. The colors are vibrant and viewing angles are excellent—a big improvement over my old TN monitor. The 16:10 ratio is a bonus for productivity, giving more vertical space. The 100Hz makes a noticeable difference in everyday use. However, the 5ms response time means you'll see some motion blur in fast games, and the stand only offers tilt. For office work and occasional gaming, it's a great value. I'm happy with the purchase.
