Our take
I've been using the HP OMEN 34c for a few weeks now, and overall it delivers a great gaming experience. The 34-inch curved VA panel with WQHD resolution looks sharp, and the 165Hz refresh rate makes motion feel smooth. The 1ms response time is excellent for fast-paced games, and Adaptive-Sync keeps tearing in check. Blacks are deep thanks to the 3000:1 contrast ratio. However, the brightness at 400 cd/m² is adequate but not exceptional for HDR. The stand is functional but not height-adjustable, which might be a con for some. For the price, it's a good value, but if you need higher refresh rates or better ergonomics, you might want to look elsewhere.
