About this product
The HP OMEN 32x is a 31.5-inch 4K UHD gaming monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, combining ultra-high resolution with fast performance. It supports FreeSync and has HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs for modern consoles and GPUs. The stand offers height and tilt adjustment for ergonomic comfort. Priced at $530, it targets gamers who want top-tier visuals and smooth motion.
Our take
The OMEN 32x is a beast of a monitor. The 4K resolution is incredibly sharp, and the 144Hz refresh rate makes everything feel fluid, even in demanding titles. The 1ms response time eliminates ghosting, and HDMI 2.1 is future-proof for next-gen consoles. I love the adjustable stand—it's sturdy and lets me set the perfect height. The only downside is that you need a powerful GPU to drive 4K at 144Hz, and the price is steep at $530. Also, the 1000:1 contrast ratio is standard, so HDR performance is limited. If you have the hardware and budget, this is a stellar choice.
